Out and About: Laws That Protect People with Disabilities

These fact sheets provide information about U.S. laws that protect the rights of people with disabilities. RTC researchers and staff created them as resources for participants in the RTC/PICL "Out and About" intervention. Each fact sheet includes one or two scenarios that illustrate how understanding disability legislation enables people with disabilities to advocate for change. An additional fact sheet offers information on how to build a support network.
